Going Public
Ok one more for today. I have been in a spiritual funk so I know God is brewing something. I am going public with what I am thinking about Fellowship of the Hills. I will cover this more in my talk this week but here is what I am sensing God doing in, for, and through me … us in the days ahead!
• This is what I see ….
– I see a church that touches the heart of Tallahassee
– I see a church that cares about people being connected to God
– I see a church that grows into service to each other and to the world
– I see a church that is passionate about sharing the Good News that God is for you!
– All of this flowing out of a heart of worship
– I see the FOTH campus as a destination for life change
– I see a major university (FSU) that becomes more know for the pastors it produces than football or partying
– I see pastors and leaders coming for all over the nation and the world to be trained, loved, and encouraged
– I see heaven crowed
– I see and I am amazed!
Ok, there it is. I know I just opened the door to criticism. So what, it is time to see what should be and make it be for the GLORY of GOD! Join me as I join God.

Gosh I wish you were here when I had my ?spiritual awakening? ?demonic attack? in the fall of 2006. Scott my friend we are seeing and saying the same things!
I ended up committed to a psychiatric unit for two weeks....I threw my Bible at the doctors and told them if they read it they would understand I wasn't sick that God was working through me...Literally, I threw The Book at them!
I'm afraid of God's power, because I've seen it first hand. I laid on the floor just like the author of 23 Minutes in Hell described and I knew Jesus Himself was about to descend into "my hell" of that psychiatric hospital and rescue me.
I WAS TERRIFIED, but ONLY HE SAVED ME FROM THAT MENTAL BREAK FROM REALITY! PRAISE BE TO HIS MIGHTY HEALING POWERS!
That said, today you talked about changing the capital of FL, changing the state of FL, changing the NATION, changing the WORLD. Years ago in my Bible study I said, "I am going to change the world for God." Scott, IT IS HAPPENING!
I see the flurries and they are beautiful!
Do you think it's a coincidence we live in the "Son Shine" state?
